Trista Davis

JAZZ

Trista began dancing at the age of two at her home studio in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Where she extensively trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pointe and Acro, competing these styles across Alberta. Throughout high school, Trista excelled in A.D.A.P.T Jazz and Tap exams, and all graded and vocational R.A.D. Ballet exams. She sought out further training opportunities in New York City, completing the Radio City Rockettes Summer Intensive and numerous conventions such as Jump across the United States. After graduating, Trista continued traveling and training, completing Harbour Dance Centre’s ITP in Vancouver, Steps On Broadway’s Summer Study in New York City and various other Rockette Intensives. Trista is proud to have added Theater Jazz, Precision, Acting and Singing to her repertoire, and continues training in multiple genres in Vancouver and across North America.

At seventeen, Trista was given the opportunity to teach at her home studio, and discovered her passion for teaching and choreographing. Since then, she has completed her SugarFoot Therapy certification, choreographed pieces for a variety of styles and ages, and is a guest choreographer at Sight Lines Performing Arts Intensive. Trista is excited to join the DanceCo team and share her passion for dance with her students. By creating a welcoming environment in the studio, Trista hopes to help her students explore their artistry and build confidence as young dancers and individuals.
