danceLab Summer Intensive 2024
Dance Co’s summer danceLab intensive is an excellent opportunity for dancers to enhance their technique and learn from a wide range of talented guest teachers in Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Core Alignment, Body Anatomy, Improv, Lyrical, Tap and Hip Hop. Dancers will have the chance to learn new works of choreography that will be showcased at the end of our 2-week intensive. Our dancers will rehearse these pieces throughout the year and fine-tune them for competition!
Solid dance training and body awareness are crucial to a dancer’s success. We invite you on an exploration of dance and the pure joy of movement, while improving your technique, strengthening your body and challenging your mind. DanceLab is open to intermediate, advanced and pre-professional dancers, as well as professional dancers and teachers.
Dance Co students in all demi-competitive, competitive, intensive and company programs are required to attend danceLab.
For Dance Co students aspiring to become a member of the above programs in the fall, attendance is highly recommended. Experienced dancers new to Dance Co who wish to dance at one of these levels in the fall are required to participate in the danceLab for assessment.
