With over three decades of excellence in the performing arts, Julie England has established herself as a leading force in dance education, choreography, and adjudication across Canada, the UK, and the United States.
Born and trained in England, Julie’s versatility spans Ballet, Contemporary, Acro Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Cunningham, Horton, Graham, Limon, National, Musical Theatre, Ballroom, and Latin. Her professional credits include stage productions such as Annie, The Pyjama Game, Olivia, and The Nutcracker. She holds a BA (Hons) in Dance from the prestigious London College of Dance and Drama, an Associate Imperial Society Teaching of Dance Certification (A.I.S.T.D.), a Progressive Contemporary Technique (PCT) certification, a top-tier Acrobatic Arts Teacher Certification (Module 3), and an Applied BA in Interior Design.
Julie’s teaching and choreography have inspired and shaped generations of dancers, many of whom now perform professionally with globally renowned companies including Cirque du Soleil, Disney, Universal Studios, Lightstrom Entertainment, London’s West End, and Broadway. Her innovative vision has also earned her multiple awards, including the coveted Cathy Wade Ensemble Award at the Dance Under the Stars Choreography Festival (Palm Desert, California), the George Lon Memorial Choreography Award at the American Dance Awards, and the Julian Paul Masi Memorial Award for Outstanding Artistic Performance.
A sought-after adjudicator, Julie is a respected member of the Adjudicator Alliance and the International Dance Council (CID UNESCO). With her artistry, mentorship, and international influence, she continues to set the standard for excellence in dance education and choreography.
