Soleil is a Vancouver-based dance artist, educator, and performer who discovered her passion for dance in her first Acro class at age 4, beginning a lifelong dedication to movement and performance. She completed her BFA in Dance at Simon Fraser University School for the Contemporary Arts, is fully certified in Acrobatic Arts, trained in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and continues expanding her qualifications through Alexia Flexibility and DanceAbility Adaptive Dance certifications.
As a biracial Afro-Brazilian artist, Soleil values drawing from her multicultural background in both her artistry and teaching. She believes representation in the classroom matters and is proud to create spaces where students feel seen, supported, and inspired.
Over the years, Soleil has trained extensively in Acrobatics, Contortion, Ballet, Jazz, Afro Styles, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, and Musical Theatre, as well as CDTA Tap & Jazz, RAD Ballet, and Cecchetti Ballet.
A competitive dancer since age 7, Soleil has been recognized for her versatility, technical strength, and performance quality through numerous overall placements and special awards.
Currently, Soleil works as a freelance dance artist, teacher, model, motion-capture performer, and stunt-work artist, collaborating with choreographers and creative teams across a range of projects.
Teaching has remained Soleil’s greatest passion throughout her career. She is dedicated to sharing her love of movement, fostering curiosity and confidence in her students, and creating an encouraging environment where dancers can grow both technically and artistically.
