Jordyn Lemire

Jordyn Lemire is a multi-form artist based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She has had the privilege of studying with Leah Silva’s Reverb Tap Company, Tasha Lawson’s Tri-Tone Rhythm Ensemble, and the Vancouver Tap Dance Society’s Tap Artistry program. Jordyn’s performance credits span across North America, Greece, and Germany. She has received support through the Grace Inglis Memorial and Professional scholarships from West Coast Tap Collective. In 2024, she was accepted into Decidedly Jazz Danceworks’ Creative Arts Residency program in Calgary, AB. In residence, she choreographed a tap dance concert entitled “Paying the Dues” that connected nine tap dancers across Western Canada and was brought to stages in August 2024. Jordyn presented an excerpt of “Paying the Dues” as the Artist in Residence at the Orange County Tap Festival this past July. She concluded her summer by completing the Tap Dance Program at the reputable School at Jacob’s Pillow directed by Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Derick K. Grant.
