Kylie was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Her love for dance started started with ballet and tap classes at Dance Co when she was 3 years old. Training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical, acro, tap, hip hop and stage, she developed a true passion for the art. In 2012, she joined the Professional Half-Day Program Dance Co offers, through Magee Secondary School. Dancing for 25 hours/week and further developing her dance knowledge and training. Kylie has received several scholarships from competitions, offering her opportunities to travel across Canada and the USA. In 2015 and 2016, she was chosen to represent Victoria Danceworks, at a provincial competition called PABC held in Powell River (2015) and Fort St. John (2016) performing contemporary and modern solos choreographed by Lisa Gelley and her own choreography. 


Upon graduating in 2016, Kylie has taken part of the pre-professional contemporary dance training program called Modus Operandi, under the direction and mentorship of David Raymond, Tiffany Tregarthen, and Kate Franklin. Throughout the years of training, learning and further developing her professional dance career, Kylie has  been exposed to many dance artists’ repertoire, classwork, and creation processes such as Joshua Beamish (Move the Company), Kirsten Wicklund (Ballet BC), Jermaine Spivey (Kidd Pivot) Ella Rothschild (independent) and performed works by Company 605, Idan Cohen, David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen, Shay Kuebler, Kate Franklin and many more. Outside of Modus, Kylie has worked more personally with Wen Wei Wang, Idan Cohen, Carol Mendes, Out Innerspace Dance Theatre and Company 605. She performed in “Trionfi Amore” by Idan Cohen in October 2019 and Company 605’s “Looping” at the PUSH Festival in November 2019.  In January 2020, Kylie travelled to Tel-Aviv, Israel where she took part in a Gaga workshop and audition for Batsheva Dance Company. Since completing the 4 year training program, alongside perusing a career in dance, Kylie has been sharing her passion and knowledge of dance with the students she teaches at Dance Co. She is constantly working to inspire young dancers through improvisation and choreography to help find their artistic expression.
