Ruby Hockey-Henderson

Ruby has been dancing since the early age of two. It wasn’t long before she transitioned to training more seriously at Dance Co, competing competitively and eventually graduating at a Senior Company Elite level  in 2020. After dedicating so many years, Dance Co has become like a 2nd home to Ruby.  It’s been a natural transition for Ruby to share everything she has learned as a member of the Dance Co faculty. Ruby is experienced in a multitude of styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Stage, receiving high praise with multiple top placements, scholarships, Judges pick awards, and the successful completion of her Advanced One Cecchetti ballet exam. Ruby is currently continuing her studies as a dance major at Simon Fraser University where she trains more specifically in contemporary, ballet and modern styles under the guidance of highly acclaimed artists from the dance community. Ruby loves sharing her passion for movement with students of all ages and levels and is excited to continue creating a space that supports the flourishing of every individual’s artistry.
