"My journey at Dance Co started at age 6, and after 13 years, I am proud to say I graduated from their Elite Dance Company team. Along the way, I have gained lifelong friends I can now call family, and with this team, I learned the importance of communication and trusting one another. This year, my dance teachers pushed us past our limits with new lifts and tricks that required everyone's commitment and support for one another. Rather than worrying about final scores or awards, Dance Co has taught me to share my individual story on stage because the reward for me is being able to express myself and dance for those who are not able to. Dancing 5 days a week surrounded by inspiring dancers has allowed me to evolve as a dancer and continue to pursue my passion for the sport. Although I will be attending Queen's University next year for health sciences, my time at Dance Co has encouraged me to audition for their competitive dance team, where I plan to continue dancing and doing what I love. Without dance, I would have never learned important skills like time management to balance my rigorous school schedule and dancing 20 hours a week. In the future, my goal is to carry on the knowledge of hard work I have learned from Dance Co into adulthood, as it will always be the safe space I can escape to and rely on."

​"When I first started dancing, I never believed I could pursue it professionally— but Dance Co made that dream a reality. Joining Dance Co was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. At just six years old, their welcoming environment made me feel like I truly belonged. Growing up in this community, I was constantly surrounded by driven and hardworking dancers. Their talents not only inspired me but also fostered an uplifting atmosphere where I saw constant improvement in my own dancing. With training five days a week, in six different styles, Dance Co prepared me to become a versatile and technically skilled dancer. The intense training not only readied me for the professional dance world, but also taught me valuable life skills, including time management and teamwork, which have been valuable in my everyday life. I am so grateful to this studio for nurturing my love for dance. While training us as dancers, Dance Co created a space where our artistry could grow. This environment not only taught me to dance with precision but also focused on the importance of dancing to tell a story. The dance instructors constantly challenged us to express ourselves through our art, for which I am forever grateful. This encouragement helped me discover my love for dance, and my ability to tell stories through movement. With the incredible training and support from Dance Co, I have finally gained the confidence to chase my dream and pursue a professional dance career. With that, I am excited to share that I am moving to London to train at Urdang City, University of London for Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. "I cannot express enough how amazing my experience at Dance Co has been! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt completely welcomed as part of their dance family. The studio has such an inclusive, supportive, fun, and friendly atmosphere. Dance Co has the most incredibly talented and passionate teachers who truly care for each of their students. Every single one of these teachers is such an inspiration and has impacted me in profound ways. Each teacher and class was unique and different, which has helped me become well-rounded and shaped me into the dancer I am today. Dance Co’s Pre-Professional Half-day Training Program gave me extra training time, experiences, and opportunities that have been pivotal in my dance journey. Thanks to the incredible support and training I have received at Dance Co, I have not only grown as a dancer but also discovered a clear direction for my future. The lessons and skills I’ve gained here have given me the confidence to move to London to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. Dance Co has been instrumental in preparing me for this next chapter, and I could not be more grateful for my home away from home."
