A good foundation in dance begins with ballet, which enables the proper placement and alignment needed to build strong versatile dancers. At all levels of study, students are encouraged to study ballet in conjunction with their jazz, lyrical, tap, contemporary, and stage classes. Dance Co offers Cecchetti ballet examinations, as well as Canadian Dance Teacher's Association (CDTA) tap, jazz and acro examinations for Company and Competitive students wishing to pursue them.
