DANCE CO. DRESS CODE POLICY
Proper dance attire is a basic necessity to all dancers, as it allows instructors to observe posture and proper body placement more easily. All clothing that is worn in class must allow the instructor to clearly view the dancer's body alignment.
Dance Co. has set a standard dress code policy and it is mandatory for all our dancers to wear the prescribed Dance Co. uniform to ALL classes . Below is a detailed listing of the Dance Co. uniform requirements for each discipline of dance. Uniforms for adults are optional, however prescribed shoes are required. For all classes, hair must be pulled off the face and neck. Hair must be in a bun for ballet and a ponytail for all other classes. Short hair should be pulled off the face with a headband.
BALLET
Uniform : DANCE CO. Bodysuit & Theatrical Pink Gilda Marx Ballet Tights
Shoes: Pre-Primary & Primary ~ Leo's Full Sole Style #045 or So Danca Style #BA14
All other ages ~ Leo's Leather Split Sole Style #095 or #035 or So Danca Style #CK10
Company/Competitive/Intensive ~ Must have Sansha canvas ballet shoe before exam/festival time
JAZZ
Uniform: DANCE CO. Capri Pant (Hip Hop pants NOT acceptable) & choice of DANCE CO. Jazz Top.
COMPANY & COMPETITIVE Students must also have a pair of the DANCE CO. shorts.
Shoes: Black Leather Split Sole Gore Jazz Boot/Shoe Style #JZ40, #JZ45, #JZ15, #7128
(jazz runners NOT acceptable)

LYRICAL
Uniform: DANCE CO. Capri Pant (Hip Hop pants NOT acceptable) & choice of DANCE CO. Jazz Top.
Shoes: To be determined by the teacher on an individual class basis, dependent upon the style of number being choreographed. Jazz shoes may be worn to class.
TAP
Uniform: DANCE CO. Capri Pant (Hip Hop pants NOT acceptable) & choice of DANCE CO. Jazz Top.
Shoes: Black Leather Tap Shoes (Tee-Sofiette or T-Budz)
HIP HOP
Uniform: Choice of Baggy DANCE CO. Hip Hop Pant & choice of Baggy DANCE CO. Hip Hop Top.
Shoes: Recreational (All Ages) Charcoal High-Top Converse
Company/Competitivewill need to purchase a second pair of Converse, dependant upon the costume that is designed.
BREAKDANCE
